August 4, 2025 – Alvinston ON – Invitation to Submit Creative Designs

Dear Community Members,

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and pride in our region: the official Logo Contest for the upcoming 2027 International Plowing Match & Rural Expo, to be held from September 21 to 25, 2027 in Brigden, Ontario. Home of the Brigden Fair.

This event is a cherished tradition, bringing together people from across Lambton County and beyond to celebrate our agricultural heritage, rural innovation, and vibrant community spirit. As we prepare to host this momentous occasion, we invite artists, designers, and community members of all ages to help us create a visual symbol that will represent the heart and soul of Lambton County and the 2027 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo.

Logo Requirements

To ensure that the logo reflects the unique identity of our event and region, all submissions must include the following elements:

Submission Guidelines

• Designs should be original, creative, and suitable for reproduction in both color and black-and-white formats.
• Submissions must be scalable and look great on everything from posters to t-shirts and digital media.
• Digital files in high-resolution PNG are preferred, but hand-drawn entries will also be accepted; please ensure they are scanned and submitted in a clear, high-quality format. Entries should be no bigger than 8.5″x11″.
• All entries must be received by September 12, 2025.
• Please include your name and contact information.

Prizes and Recognition

• The winning design will become the official logo for the 2027 International Plowing Match & Rural Expo and will be featured on all event materials.
• The winner will receive a special prize package.
