For Immediate Release
BRIGDEN, ON – Monday, February 2, 2026 – The 2027 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM) Local
Committee has released its logo design for the 2027 IPM, coming to Brigden, in Lambton County, Ontario from September 21 to 25, 2027.
The logo was inspired by local resident Alyssa DeCiantis, who submitted a design concept in response to the Local Committee’s call for logo designs in a contest that ran from August 4 to September 12, 2025.
DeCiantis’ logo design includes notable features including a tractor and plow to represent the Ontario Plowmen’s Association (OPA) who organizes the event annually across the Province of Ontario with a host community, the iconic Plowman statue that was temporarily taken to the grounds of the 1991 IPM in Enniskillen Township from its permanent home at the Brigden Fairgrounds, the geographic outline of Lambton County, along with wheat stalks.
As the winner of the logo design contest, DeCiantis will receive a cash prize, 2027 IPM souvenirs and admission passes.
“The selection of our logo is an important milestone as we start to plan our marketing materials in the lead up to the 2027 IPM,” said Don Lunn, First Chair, Marketing for the 2027 IPM Local Committee.
“The IPM is the largest outdoor event of its kind in Canada, and Lambton County’s residents and visitors will be seeing the 2027 IPM logo on everything from signage, to social media and souvenir merchandise like hats and hoodies.”
The 2027 IPM will be held at Brigden in St. Clair Township, located in Lambton County from September 21 to 25, 2027.
This one-of-a-kind celebration of agriculture and rural life offers visitors the opportunity to learn about agriculture, take in entertainment, watch plowing competitions, conduct agricultural business and meet new and old friends.
This year’s IPM will be held in Bruce County from September 22 to 26, 2026.
